A. No new or existing driveway which connects with a state, county or municipal roadway shall be constructed or altered unless the owner first obtains a driveway permit from the Pohatcong Township Construction Code Official. If the driveway connects to a state or county roadway, the owner shall also obtain a permit for the portion of the driveway within the road right-of-way from the governmental unit having jurisdiction.

B. Any portion of a Class I driveway located outside of the road right-of-way shall be exempt from the design and construction standards as set forth in this chapter.
