§ 100-117. Enforcement. [Amended 3-6-1979]

The provisions of this Part 1 shall be enforced by the Zoning Officer, who shall be appointed by the Township Committee for a one-year term | |||||||
§100-118. Building and zoning permit.

A.Prior to any change in the use of any land or structure, where the changed use is affected by the requirements of this Part 1, the owner or his authorized agent shall apply for a zoning permit, unless a site plan approval, industrial use permit or conditional use permit is required by the provisions of this Part 1 or of the Holland Township Development Regulations Ordinance (1977), provided that no additional zoning permit shall be required in any case in which a building permit (which term shall mean the appropriate permit required pursuant to the New Jersey State Uniform Construction Code) is issued " The application for a zoning permit shall be on forms to be supplied by the Construction Official and shall contain such information, sketches, plans and data as may be required by regulations of the Planning Board to determine that said change in use complies with the requirements of this Part 1, and no zoning permit shall be issued unless and until the Construction Official has determined that said change in use complies with said requirements A fee of twenty-five dollars ($25 ) shall be paid prior to the issuance of a zoning permit [Amended 9-4-1979]

B.The application for a building permit required by the New Jersey State Uniform Construction Code shall contain such information, sketches, plans and data, in addition to those required by the said New Jersey State Uniform Construction Code, as may be required by regulations of the Planning Board to determine that said building, and the use thereof, and any change in use of land or structure comply with the requirements of this Part 1 and with the provisions of any applicable industrial use permit theretofore granted by the Planning Board or special exception use permit theretofore granted by the Board of Adjustment and no building permit shall be issued pursuant to the New Jersey State Uniform Construction Code unless and until the Construction Official has determined that the proposed building, and the use thereof, and any change in use of land or structure complies with said requirements and the provisions of any said applicable industrial use permit or special exception use permit.

§100-119. Certificate of occupancy.

It shall be unlawful to use or permit the use of any land or structure, the use of which has been changed in such manner as to require the issuance of a zoning permit, industrial use permit or special exception use permit hereunder, and it shall be unlawful to use any building hereinafter located, relocated, erected, constructed, reconstructed, enlarged or structurally altered so as to require the issuance of a building permit, until a certificate of occupancy shall have been issued therefor by the Construction Official. Such certificate of occupancy shall be issued by the Construction Official if said land or structure, so changed in use or building so located, relocated, erected, constructed, enlarged or structurally altered, as the case may be, conforms with all the requirements of this Part 1, the Holland Township Development Regulations Ordinance (1977), and applicable provisions of the New Jersey State Uniform Construction Code. Such certificate of occupancy shall be issued or denied by the Construction Official within ten (10) days of application for it | |||||||
§ 100-120. Sign permit.

No sign shall hereafter be erected or altered unless such sign conforms -to the requirements of this Part 1. Prior to erecting or altering any sign, an application by the owner or his authorized agent shall be made for a sign permit required under the building subcode adopted pursuant to the New Jersey State Uniform Construction Code Act, and any fee for such permit required by the subcode shall be paid. | |||||||
§100-120.1 Home occupation permit. [Added 12-19-1989 by Ord. No.1989-13]

Prior to using any lot for a home occupation, a home occupation permit shall be issued for such occupation by the Zoning Officer Such permit shall be issued by the Zoning Officer if he determines that the proposed home occupation complies with the requirements of this Code An application by the owner or his authorized agent shall be made to the Zoning Officer for such permit on such forms as the Zoning Officer shall designate, and any fee for such permit, required by this Code, shall be paid by the applicant | |||||||
§ 100-121. Violations and penalties.

Any person, firm or corporation violating any provision of this Part 1 shall be punished by a fine of not exceeding five hundred dollars ($500) or by imprisonment in the county jail for not exceeding thirty (30) days, or both, and each day that any such violation continued shall constitute a separate offense | |||||||
