Article III. Preapplication Sketch
§ 248-4. Purpose.

The preapplication sketch is suggested to prospective subdividers, their agents or engineers so that they may obtain the advice of the Planning Board and other Town officials in the formative stages of the design and to assure coordination with the Comprehensive Plan.

§ 248-5. Procedure.

Four paper prints of the preapplication sketch shall be submitted to the Planning Board office for informal review.

§ 248-6. Sketch requirements.

A.rough, scaled sketch drawn on a map shall be prepared by a licensed engineer or land surveyor, indicating the following:

A. Boundary survey data.

B. Topographic survey contours.

C. Existing drainage features (e.g., culverts, marshes, ponds and streams).

D. Special site conditions (e.g., easements, power lines and structures).

E. The building zone district boundaries.

F. The relationship to the Comprehensive Plan for the area.

G. The proposed street and block layout with reference to surrounding properties and street pattern.
