ARTICLE 18.8 OCCUPANCY PREFERENCE AND POLICY

Section 18.8.1 In accordance with COAH rules (N. J. A . C.5 93-11. 7) as from time to time supplemented and amended, households which live or work in the housing region (Union, Morris, Sussex and Essex Counties) shall have a preference for all new affordable units created in the Township.

Section 18.8.2 All affordable units to be constructed in accordance with this Part shall have effective utilization of space without overcrowding or providing more space than is needed by the number of persons in the household.

Section 18.8.3 The following shall be the occupancy standards for affordable units :

Section 18.8.4 A change in family size after occupancy will not be considered a violation of this policy unless the same is in violation of the applicable building code regulations.
